The last few days...

I've just been reminded that I haven't updated in while. Mainly it's because nothing worth writing about has happened. Life has been good. Still adjusting to the whole school thing. Nelson has small project do on Friday and we haven't even started... so now we know what we'll be doing tonight!

I'm drowning in a sea of unfolded laundry. It's ALL clean but... I HATE folding. There wouldn't be so much of it but last week we all took turns with a stomach bug so ...... more laundry than usual. I thought I'd get back on track now or yesterday actually but we went to the lake instead.

Our boat had been broke for a couple of weeks and finally we got it back to working order. Had to redo the console and ignition. We also got the awning on so we could have some shade...there are some kinks to work out on that. Anyway, since it had been so terribly long James wanted to go to the lake and if I didn't go, he and Eric couldn't go tubing. The water was rough the first half of the day so I didn't tube. I left to get Nelson from school so he could play too. By then the water was smooth but I was sunburnt and had a headache so I just swam. Yes...swam. In the NASTY water of Lake Palestine. ewww.

My mom is taking Henry for a couple of days starting in the morning so I can have some free time while Nelson is at school, so I can have some one on one time with Nelson after school... we're going to do something special on Friday (haven't decided what that is yet)...and so Henry can get some time with Mema & Gramps. Both boys treasure their alone time with them and it's Henry's turn.

As I'm typing this Henry has decided to check out my spice rack. He managed to get the lid off the caraway seeds so I made him taste it...he wasn't fond of it. So off to his room he went. Unfortunately for him he was still curious so he came back and this time got a nice big taste of crushed red pepper. He flipped out but it hasn't curbed his curiosity!! Little stinker!
