Mud Wrestling 101

Today was a fun day! Nelson had soccer and they won!!!! He did REALLY good and scored two goals! The entire team has improved dramatically. :) I treated him to DQ after the game and then we had a nap... yes! A NAP!! It was the first one in ages. After nap time we cleaned their bedroom and started their toy room. The toy room pretty much looked like a hurrican blew threw... toys, books, and movies scattered everywhere. But it's improving.

After supper the kids were in the back yard while I started on the kitchen. I heard a loud commotion... laughing, giggling, shrieking... When I got outside I found the boys dancing around a spray of water. The water was shooting straight up and going as high as the roof!! Henry had managed to get the knob off of the backyard faucet. I panicked, called a friend who sent her husband over, and tried calling James. By the time friends husband got there, I had found the knob and was able to get it back on and stop the water.

Of course, there was LOTS of mud by then since we dont have much grass in the back so the boys had a blast playing! Below you'll find a slide show of their mud fun!

Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter weekend!! The weather was perfect, my brother, sister-n-law, and their kids were in town so we all spent the weekend at our mom's house. It was so fun! The kids got to play outside the entire time and loved it! They hadn't seen each other since last summer. Rayn has gotten so big...she's beautiful and FULL of personality! Damien and Maddox have grown a lot too and are so sweet! They are great big brothers too! Here's a slide show... and yes, I know.. most of the pics are of Rayn! LOL

Finally some snow!

It finally snowed here!! This morning before school we let the boys play outside in it. They had a blast! Charlie was unsure at first but finally got excited too and chased and ate the snow. The boys had a "snowball" fight and James accidentally got Nelson in the face... that ticked Henry off! He is protective of Nelson unless it's him doing the damage! :) Nelson wanted to skip school today but instead he got to be a few minutes late so he could play for about 20 minutes. It's still snowing now but what was on the ground is starting to melt... here are some pics. Enjoy!
