The Wedding (pictures below!)

So Nelson & Henry were asked to take part of my cousin Aaron's wedding to Teena. Henry the ring bearer and Nelson a Jr. Groomsmen. We practiced and went over how important it was to be still and quiet during the ceremony. I was expecting Henry to be loud... well...... He was not loud. But he was NOT still either! He went and climbed around on all the chairs and walked up and down the isles where the choir normally sits. He made his way to the drum set and thank GOD he did not actually play them! I couldn't see anything but his feet when he was at the drums but I was later told that he was smiling at everyone and gently patting the drums. Yikes!! When he started making his way back to the other side, I had James run and grab him.

Unfortunately I couldn't see Nelson most of the time from where I was sitting. Aaron's mom, my aunt Lanett, said he was hilarious! He was smiling, winking, and giving everyone a "thumbs up". I did see him during the unity candle lighting.. he had to move to get a better look at what they were doing!

All in all, the wedding turned out beautifully and they will have some great memories. The minister did a wonderful job. Aaron & Teena both looked great (of course) and the church was decorated very pretty.

The reception was LOADS of fun. Dancing, food, drinks, cake... Nelson made his rounds flirting & dancing. Henry was.. well, Henry! The bride & groom suprised us all with their first dance. It started off typical with slow music and they made it like the DJ messed up their song then it started playing short clips of different kinds of music and they started dancing again... choreographed a hilarious dance! It was great!

Thank you Aaron & Teena for including us in your special day!!!!

It's almost summertime!!!

Summer is almost here!! HOORAY!! Nelson is definitely ready for school to be out. We are all ready for some boating, relaxing, cookouts, and vacation.

We have T-ball until mid-June. The boys are both signed up for a week at Great Gram's and Vacation Bible School. Then private swim lessons. July is empty so far but we may find something for them to do that month too. If not, we'll stick with lots of zoo trips, local botanical gardens, a waterpark trip, and lots of time under the yard sprinklers!

In August, two weeks before school starts, we are going to take a road trip to Destin, FL!!! We CAN NOT WAIT! 3 days in a beach house will be sooo nice. My little sister, Shay is coming with us and possibly my Mom & Cary.

Mom is doing pretty good. She has her days that she's exhausted and not feeling well but for the most part she is doing great. It's been much easier than her experience 5 years ago. We are hoping she is completely done with chemo and on her road to recovery by the time we go to Florida so her and Cary can really enjoy it.

Well that's all for now!! Look forward to some pics soon. We have a wedding this weekend that the boys are in and we are having their pics taken at the Dallas Arboretum. :)
