Camp Money

Nelson & Henry both had $50 in the camp accounts for buying snacks and drinks at the camp store. They each also bought a ball cap. Nelson spent some of his money on buying a snack for a couple of friends he made. What a sweet kid! We got their refund check (leftover money) in the mail today and Nelson still had $20 and Henry only had $8! At first I was blown away... how much junk did he eat/drink at camp?! Then I remembered he was also buying snacks every day to enjoy on the way home from camp. Haha! I wonder if these current spending habits are a glimpse into how it will be when they're older.
